Torture museum

Oddly enough for our final day in Europe we woke up, had breakfast and went to a torture museum in the square of Cesky Krumlov. It only took us about 30 minutes to walk through but it was a creepy half hour.

The museum is mostly in the basement of the building and the torture scenes are played out including sound effects. The woman being burned at the stake is crying and the man being stretched until his muscles tear is moaning.

The lights are dim and it is damp in the basement. Its amazing how some of the methods of torture were used up until about 30 years ago.

After the museum we collected our bags and headed home. The last trip in Europe.....for this time :)
