The idea behind this event was to run the strip at night. Because of this we didn't have to be at the meeting point until 1500. Until then we didn't do much but rest our legs and eat
The half marathon had 106 couples being married or renewing vows and all had to meet up at 1500 for the event that started at 1630.
The running elvi were all meeting with us as well.
By the start of the event we were well past ready to go. The ceremony was going to be 45 minutes in to the event at the three mile mark. We all gathered on the Brooklyn Bridge of New YOrk, New YOrk. The reverand had better words to say than the guy who originally married us. She had me in tears this time. It was well worth the effort and time we had to put in to participating. After the ceremony I went on down the strip for the next 10 miles and Curt went back to the Luxor.
I think the walk back to the hotel seemed longer than the run Curt had donuts and soda waiting for me though I got a shower and we went downstairs to the steakhouse for dinner. I got a delicious lobster bisque and a lobster pasta. Curt had Irish stew. It was a delicious dinner and just the right way to end my first trip to Vegas.
