Hot Springs overlook
Hot Springs, Arkansas has a humongous National Park nestled around the town and our goal today was to take all the girls hiking on one of the trails. The first one was a bust but the second trail was good for them, only 0.7 miles each way. Suprisingly Emma and Daisy did really well and they all seemed to have a blast. The trail ended at the top of the mountain with a lookout over Hot Springs.

girls having fun
On the way back down to town we let the girls off leash and they tore up and down the trail like maniacs. It was heart warming to watch them have so much fun together.

Lunch was another good one but more relaxed and Grandma's Cafe. It was a nice homey setting with large portions.

Tonight we were going to Garvan Gardens to see the Christmas Lights. The lady at the pet store told us tonight would be a better night to bring the dogs but to go early. We were about 15 minutes behind opening time and the place was already crazy. All the parking spots were full and we waited about 30 minutes in line just to pay. We ended up carrying Daisy and Emma because there were so many people. The light displays were probably very beautiful on a night that was not so crowded but we just couldn't enjoy it. We picked up our free hot chocolate just for the principle of it and got out of dodge.
Our reward was delicious pizza at Angels Italian restaurant. It is an adorable small place with awesome pizza. We were exhausted after our ordeal at the light show so we went home to get ready to leave tomorrow.
