At our very first stop today I was wishing Lindsay was still on the trip with us. I think she would have loved to see the pig that was at Sunset Beach. These people brought their four dogs and this pig to the beach with them. It was digging holes just like Calla.

Curt and I snorkeled at Shark's Cove but the entry was a bit difficult so we kept moving up the beach to find the turtles.

A turtle beach there were maybe half a dozen Hawaiian green sea turtles that were right at the waters edge. Some woman had to constantly be reminding people to give them some space. You could watch them chowing down on seaweed as long as you wanted.

I must have stood there for a pretty long time because by then everyone else was hungry and we went to Giovanni's Shrimp Truck.

We all enjoyed our shriimp plates of either hot shrimp or shrimp scampi and checked out the surrounding market. The shaved ice there was delicious but I was still craving some sweets. Teds Bakery and the glazers that came recommeded were just the thing I needed. For the afternoon we hung out on our little personal beach.

Dinner was at Kahunu Grill for burgers and fries. The food was good but the servers were apparently new so we spent a lot of time in line so the girl taking orders wouldn't overwhelm them.
